Diving safari in Kamchatka: scuba diving with steller's sea lions and snorkeling with orcas
Liveaboard diving cruise on Kamchatka peninsula: diving with northern sea lions, snorkeling with orcas

Kamchatka, the eastermost region of Russia, is well know for being home to a great variety of marine mammals. The main focus of our expedition is diving with Steller's sea lions, crabs, northern jellyfishes, sea anemones and many more.

We will also take our time to snorkeling with orcas, one of the most beautiful and intelligent inhabitants of the seas, but also one of the most ferocious ones.

Important! Divers on this trip must be at least PADI AOWD or equivalent – diving conditions on Kamchatka are quite tough. Diving insurance is a must. It's better to use dry suit – water temperature is around 8 degrees C.
Accomodation.
Our accommodation for the trip is an ocean sailing catamaran equipped with engines so that it would be possible to follow the route even in calm weather. With favorable winds the ship goes sailing, though. There is additional equipment on board such as two motor boats, a compressor, tanks, SUP sets. When not busy exploring the area you'll spend time in one of the three double or two triple cabins. There are two restrooms with showers on board and the third shower is located on the stern of the vessel, where you can rinse off salty ocean water after swimming or diving. Having returned after a busy adventure route, you will find yourself in the warm and cozy houseboat with a hot shower and a delicious dinner. The crew will gladly show you how to handle basic sailing gear till you get the hang of it and when the sea is calm you'll get a chance to try kayaking ocean-style.Isn't this what can count for a real adventure? It's time to become a true explorer and ‒ for some of the areas we'll pass – a pioneer!

Animals we can meet.
With Kamchatka being a real paradise for naturalists, feel free to consider the Pacific Ocean, mountain rivers, caldera and crater lakes your personal laboratory if you're a nature lovers, of course.
